I tried to fix a problem on the PKR module from my vacation place, and I crashed everything. This caused a problem for all users that stared the replayer the 5th and 6th of August.

The replayer is back on his feet now, you may just restart it. However, the PKR problem remains, and this specific room won't work until I get back in front of my home computer, in two weeks from now.

Sorry about that.

The UR users community is growing each day, so it's time to give this website a place to share.

Share experiences or problems you might have had when you installed or used the replayer. New users could certainly benefit from it.

Share ideas about new features. I'll go back to work on the replayer very soon, and I'd like to do the upgrades as popular as possible.

Share everything else, no necessarily about the replayer.

It's a bit empty right now, but it's only waiting for you to add your contribution : http://www.universal-replayer.net/forum/phpBB3

In my crusade to limit the time I spend answering to my dears users' emails, I reach today a new step, with this long awaited FAQ.

Like every FAQ in the world, they'll be consulted by 0.5% of the users. But 0.5% of the gigantic amount of you guys using the replayer, it's really something. To the other 99.5%, I just wanted you to know that the FAQ page is full of FreeXXXclipsSEXBritneyBDSM. And more.

1) PKR full compatibility
The kiss-ass 3D Poker room 'PKR' joins the bunch of supported rooms. Hold'em, Omaha are supported, scanning and live replay features too.
I had few files to run my tests, so I expect you to report me any bug with the attached HH on my email : popopop.poker@gmail.com

2) Filtered Browsing
From now on, all the browsing commands will be affected by the filters you may have activate. The automatic replay, as well as the backward and forward manual buttons will jump to the next ( or previous ) filtered hand, skipping the ones you
"discarded" using the filters.
You may however replay a discarded hand by clicking on it on the session bar.

There's no "link" page on this website for now, so this news is here to suggest you take a look at PKCC, or "PoKer Control Center".

It's a game analysis platform, which, unlike products like PokerTracker or PokerOffice, manage your game datas and statistics on web personal space. Meaning you have access to it virtually from anywhere... For those of you asking, yes, your datas are very highly secured.

The design is very nice, the platform being built on the latest web development standards, and importing your datas ( HH ) in your personal space is very simple. Last thing : it's free :)

1) OnGame Network full compatibility
This is a great news for all of you guys using the replayer with a HH from the OnGame Network ( PokerRoom, Tower Gaming, Winamax, etc... ). HH import used to be a pain in the ass, it's now 100% automatic, for you can now plug a "scan" on the ".db" file on your hard drive. Consult the QuickStart page on the website ( www.universal-replayer.net ) if you're not comfortable with the scan feature. Every HH of your database will be converted : Hold'em, Omaha, Stud, etc...
First scan should take some time, obviously.

2) Betfair Poker full compatibility
Betfair went solo and left the Cryptologic network a year ago, breaking the former compatibility between this room and the replayer. The new format is now 100% handled by the replayer ( Hold'em, Omaha, scan and live replay available, etc... )

3) Spanish translation available.
One of the most spoken langage in the world was missing. This is no longer the case, thanks to a very nice contribution from a replayer's user.

One great way to bring your contribution to the project is to add a translation to the replayer. It supposed to be "universal" after all...

If you feel like you can do this simple job, you may want to take a look at this page. You'll find all the instructions you need to do the translation, and to test it using the replayer.

Thx for that help.

If you take a look at this page, you'll find what some of you have been asking me
to do for a year an and half : some help with the replayer.

This page was written in a "The replayer for dummies" style, meaning very simple, but usefull and clear explanations, and step by step recepies to use
the basic features : hand conversion, replay, scan plugging, live replay, etc...

A more complete manual will follow. Hopefully, I'll try not to wait a year and half...

As you can see, this site is still a bit small, but growing fast. We wanted to make it readable as soon as possible, even if there is still loads of work to do.

Appart from this news page and the download page, i'm gonna
open pretty soon a tutorial page, with some videos to explain how you can use the main feature of the software.

I'm willing to add a forum part too, in order to be able to answer you as fast as possible, while everybody else knows about it. Come back here soon.

It's been a year now that my replayer is growing in some dirty hidden page of my poker blog.
The old URL http://www.popopop-poker.net/article.php3?id_article=29 has been passed from post to post, but i could no longer let it rest in some place i update less othen than i write to my grandmother. So here it is, a brand new place dedicated to the player, and to the player only.
You think the website looks great ? me too. Metos, one of my poker-forum-mate, has done a amazing job about it. The thing is, it's not the first time he makes something great : check out herefor more of his beauties...
