If you are sure Java is correctly installed on your system, you may skip this part.

Otherwise, there's a pretty simple way to test your java installation. All you'll need is to open a command shell ( on windows systems, clic on "start" button, then "run..." then enter "cmd".
MacOsX as java installed as a standard. On linux system, any command shell will do the trick ).
Enter "java" then press 'enter'

If you get something like this :

Linux then everything is fine. Jump to next step.

If you get a message saying that "java" is not recognized as a program :

it means Java is not/incorrectly installed on your system. Go here : http://www.java.com, and download Java. The installation is short and simple, and the install folder has no importance

Note : The version of your "java -version" has no importance either. If it's too old to run the replayer, it will be automatically upgraded during the download ( see next step ).

Note : If nothing happens other than a simple file donwload, it means your java installation is incorrect ( your system has no program to delegate jnlp files ).

The followings actions will then be performed :

• Code download
• Java update (if necessary): if your Java is too old, it will be upgraded
• Certificate validation : It's a standard procedure for all Java programs. You'll be asked to grant the replayer the rights to access some files of you system. Those files are actually those who will be created during this installation or when converting and new Hand history file. This software is 100% spyware free. If you don't accept the certificate, installation will be cancelled. I strongly advice you to tick the box "always trust products form this vendor", otherwise the certificate will pop up at every single runtime.
• Shortcut creation : It's highly recommended to accept the shortcut creation on your desktop, because it's the only simple way to run the program. If you don't, you'll need to get back on the download link to run the program again. It won't download anymore files, but it's not a very handy way to run a program.

Download is over : follows basic configuration :

• Language selection : pick up you language among the one in the list. This choice can be temporary, as you'll be able to switch to another language using the "help" menu.
• Main Storage Folder selection : this folder is very important : all files associated to the replayer will go there.
